How to NOT Save Money on Taxes When You’re Self-Employed… and 2 Things to Do Instead
Oh, I am fired up today!
I recently read an article on HerMoney.com -- a website I generally trust -- that has really gotten my goat! I'll link the article below in the resources section, but essentially, the author presented some "hacks" to help freelancers and independent contractors pay less in taxes.
None of these suggestions are "hacks" in my opinion, and I wouldn't recommend a single one of them to clients or friends.
In this video, I'm addressing the 3 things that triggered me about the tips the author shared, explaining why they're not helpful for the vast majority of self-employed people and small business owners, and giving you 2 ways to actually save money instead.
